Hi to all of you who love to scrape book and/or card making. I have been doing paper craft and card making since ' 1990', which started in Fort Myers, Florida. I worked for D.O.T.S., and Creative Arts Concept. Teaching Tutorials, Classes in card making and Scrapbooking to my friends in a Fort Myers and Cape Coral from my church.
Than I met the owner from the Owl and the Pussy Cat where I expanded my knowledge in card making and paper crafts. Besides monthly meetings and classes we had all night scrap booking. Which was a great way to exchange Ideas and learn techniques. At the Owl and the Pussy Cat, I took classes that expanded my knowledge even more. Examples, Book Hand Printing, Water Coloring, dry and powder Embossing, coloring with markers, working with Die's. collage, mixing my own embossing powder, back ground designing on my cards, stamp frames, Package wrapping and making my own gift boxes, decorated jars, glitter painting, Vintage Style, Antiquing paper with stamp pads, dye-based inks for solid lines, folding paper into shapes, decoupage paper, sketching cards, Quilting with paper, Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers, Colored Pencil shading and Aqua Markers. feather coloring, shading. Flower making, and more!
I have always enjoyed drawing and crafts thru my life growing up I our house as children. Our mom taught us to not sit idling by but to do the things we in joyed!
I also took classes in painting Acrlics on Canvas painting birds and back ground at our library here in Ocala,Florida. I knit, crochet, silk ribbon embroidry, taught sewing for Anne Pearson from stretch and sew, taught sewing machine basics, machine embroidry, and clothe sewing along with quilting and craft construction. With Viking sewing Center.
I am married to a wonderful man, Joe, and have 3 step grown adult children, 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and 1 on the way. A Labador puppy, Daisymay and a Africangrey who is 4 years old.
